Japanese Bancha is a green tea harvested between the summer and autumn from the second flush of Sencha. It's a large dark green wiry leaf that produces a smooth and mellow brew which is lemon in colour. It has a unique flavour and aroma to it that resembles freshly cut grass.
Bancha green tea is celebrated for its health benefits due to it being mineral rich (especially iron) and because of its anti-acid properties
How to brew
Brew in freshly boiled water that has cooled for 2 minutes, for around 3-5 minutes.
